Read Across America Day

March 2 is the annual Read Across America Day in celebration of the great Dr. Seuss. Originally intended as a day to celebrate reading with and to children, we at More Than A Review believe you don't have to be a child to celebrate Read Across America Day or to love Dr. Seuss.
Seuss books are filled with wisdom for both adults and children from quotes about being yourself to treating others with respect.
"Adults are just outdated children" ~ Dr. Seuss
If we're being honest, most of Seuss' books are a fun read but the Oh The Places You'll Go is especially poignant for graduates as they cross over into the world of young adulthood.
But get this, in 1939 Seuss wrote a book designed entirely for adults titled The Seven Ladies of Godiva: The True Facts Concerning History's Barest Family. It's about seven sisters who never wear clothing so we're not sure how it would rate on the MTAR reviews!
How do you plan to celebrate reading in March?
